Good, not great

The final appearance is good, not great. I did everything as instructed. Power washed, used the rust oleum cleaner, patch, and put on a concrete primer before the epoxy. Dehumidified overnight. While cutting the edge I noticed bubbling in the epoxy when drying. Learned that this is common in corners due to gasses trying to exit. Since it could’ve happened all over I did some research and found that professionals use spiked shoes and rollers ($100+) to prevent this. What I did find out that’s very important is that mixing is critical to the epoxy having the right color and no air bubbles. Don’t go by the directions and kneed the bag after pouring the 2 parts together. I found that even after 3 minutes the color wasn’t properly blended. Also Do Not shake the bag. This creates more air bubbles in the epoxy and the finished floor could be All bubbly. I found that after the 2 parts are poured together it’s best to Slowly Stir with a paint stick folding the mixture gently works the best.
