I have used this oil on the deck of my NH home and also on my entire VA log home. It is the best finish I have used on any exterior wood surface. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good, long lasting finish on their wood deck or wood home.
I put it on with a brush with a minimum of 3 coats. This gives an even coloring through out. After 3 years, the rain water still beads on the surface.
