This Barton Kramer handle set has everything you need to securely and reliably lock an out swinging aluminum or stainless-steel door. Constructed of long-lasting aluminum and stainless steel, it features a high-profile resilient striker and locking latch with 1-3/4 in. hole spacing - fitting doors 5/8 in. x €“ 1-1/4 in. thick - finished in silver. All mounting hardware included.

Cut out drilling template below and follow instruction for correct location of installation holes.
Step 1: With door in closed position, place template on inside of door.
Step 2: Mark center of the three holes.
Step 3: Drill the three 5/16€³ holes straight through the face of the door.
Step 1: If needed, assemble key cylinder (optional) to the lock button by inserting the key and cylinder into the track button and turning the key one half turn. Remove key from bottom prior to further installation.
Step 2: Assemble outside handle with button, spindle, and spring. Push this assembly through installation holes from outside the door as shown.
Step 3: Depress button to extend spindle. Position latch mechanism over holes, guiding spindle into rectangular slot in center of mechanism. Insert both machine screws into threaded sleeves and turn each down to a snug position. Check to make sure that spindle moves freely by pushing button.
Step 4: Install strike plate on wood jamb or aluminum €œZ€ bar to firmly engage latch bolt.
Step 5: Use 1/8€³ drill for lower handle hole. Drill through the outside of door only and securely fasten bottom of handle with screw provided.
