I used it as a finish within the interior of a large cabinet. I first used a gloss sheen Val spar product as a base coat (in a similar color). Doing so reduced my coats required of the metallic. I’m very pleased with the project. (Make sure to stir/shake paint thoroughly before applying.)

- This latch shield is constructed of steel and comes in a gray painted finish. It features a 5/16 in. offset lip which is designed to cover the latch area of an outswinging hinged door. Helps protect swing-out doors from forced entry at the most vulnerable area of a door. Use this latch shield with doors whose locksets are installed at a 2-3/8 in. backset. Installation fasteners are included with this item.
