Roman Pro-977 Ultra Prime® Pigmented Wallpaper Primer 10301

Description

Premium, all-purpose, pigmented acrylic primer/sealer that can be used on the most difficult surfaces. Promotes strippability and is particularly excellent for priming bare drywall. Formulated as a replacement for oil/alkyd based primers and seals flat latex paint. It can be tinted with a maximum of 4 oz. colorant per gallon. No splatter and low odor. Ready to hang in an hour. Will not lift when double-cut. Up to 33% more coverage. Superior white hiding power. Coverage is 550 sq. ft./gal.

Surface Preparation:

Surface must be free from grease and

other residues, dry, smooth and structurally sound.

Check surfaces for paint bonding and

damaged wallboard or plaster. Repair all unsound surfaces.
Before proceeding with any unusual conditions, consult your
adhesive or wallcovering supplier.

Tinting:

Can be tinted with universal tints; 4 oz./gal. maximum

Dilution:

Do not dilute.

Application Method:

Use only when the room temperature is above

50F.  Apply an even coat of primer with a brush,

roller, or spraying system.

Airless Spray:

Pump: 45:1

Hose: 1/2” I.D.

Tip Size: .015 and larger

Gun psi: 2000-2300

Drying Time:

ULTRA PRIME® is dry and ready to hang

over in approximately one hour. Low temperature,
high humidity, and poor ventilation will slow down the drying

process.

Clean-Up:

Before the primer dries, remove any excess

with clean water. Brushes and rollers should be

cleaned immediately after use with warm, clean

water.

WARNINGS--

Product contains crystalline silica. Do not sand.
