Sashco Pre-Caulking Backer Rod Filler Rope is a flexible foam material designed to optimize expansion and contraction joints. It forms a cushioning layer that prevents sealant from binding to the bottom of the joint, allowing for proper movement and longevity of the sealant.
Supplied in long, circular-profile lengths, this backer rod is easily pressed into joints prior to sealant application, ensuring a professional, durable finish. Ideal for use in a variety of sealing projects requiring reliable joint performance.
