The Scotts Turf Builder EdgeGuard Mini Broadcast Spreader is designed for use in applying fertilizer, grass seed, salt, and ice melt. This convenient lawn spreader is pre-calibrated and suitable for use on lawns up to 5,000 sq. ft. when filled with Scotts product.
When the EdgeGuard feature is activated, it effectively stops product from being dispersed onto non-lawn areas by blocking the right side of the spreader pattern. The Scotts Turf Builder EdgeGuard Mini Broadcast Spreader is user-friendly and easy to use. To get started, adjust the rate control dial to the recommended setting found on the back of any Scotts product, pour the product into the hopper, and begin spreading.
The lawn spreader has a curved hopper and dual-bladed agitator for smooth product funneling and consistent coverage. It is compact with a fold-down handle for easy storage. Spreaders ensure uniform coverage of granular products and can also be used for distributing salt on walkways and driveways.
