Valspar Pro-Hide Exterior Latex Primer is a 100% acrylic formula ideal for exterior surfaces such as siding, foundations, and trim. It seals, primes & protects your favorite outdoor surfaces, and helps to improve topcoat adhesion by promoting a smooth, durable finish. Apply in temperatures as low as 35 F, Valspar Pro-Hide Exterior Primer is also mildew-resistant, and can be applied by brush, roller, or spray.

Usage
Properly prepared exterior bare or previously painted wood siding and trim, fiber cement board, vinyl, brick, cement,cinder block, stucco and non-rusted, galvanized gutters and downspouts.

Prep
Thoroughly clean the surface and allow to dry. Remove all dirt, dust, chalk, rust, grease, wax and mildew. Scrape off loose and peeling paint, sand smooth, then spot prime. Thoroughly remove chalk by vigorous washing, then rinse. Remove gloss from shiny surfaces. Countersink nails and apply an oil-based metal primer to exposed nail heads. Caulk cracks and joints.

Application
If applying by sprayer, back-roll or back-brush to work primer into the surface. Apply a liberal coat of primer uniformly, workingwell into the surface. Allow to dry at least 2 hours before applying a latex topcoat, overnight for oil topcoats.

Dry Time @ 77 °F and 50 % Relative Humidity
To The Touch: 1 hour - 2 hour
Recoat: 2 hour

Clean-up & Disposal
Clean up with warm, soapy water. Do not pour unused contents down the drain. Consult with local authorities for proper method of disposal and recycling.
