Great bristles but the ferule is way to thin.

Consider this:
Exclusive blend of gold nylon and brown China bristle; nylon improves coverage, durability, and clean out while China bristle provides the smoothest results. Softest formulation, fluid glide, ideal for interior finishing; use with all oil-based or alkyd paints, low VOC coatings, enamels, and high-grade acrylics. Round rust-resistant steel ferrule. Green™ Shergrip® handle, made of solvent-resistant elastomeric material, has a softer feel for greater comfort and non-slip control. NOTE: The Manufacturer has changed the plastic handle to a wood handle design.
